Our Story

Sparkle and Shine began with a simple idea: make homes sparkle, and make work meaningful.

In 2015, our founder Terry Stevens, a large-scale artist and youth worker of 15 years, saw how many Melbourne locals were looking for flexible, rewarding work, while so many households were searching for reliable, high-quality cleaners they could truly trust.

Sparkle and Shine grew from that connection and from the belief that when you want to see something amazing in the world, you have to build it yourself.

What started as one person’s vision to “bring the sparkle back” has grown into a supportive community of local cleaning teams, all dedicated to helping Melbourne families feel proud of their homes again.
